Week 52
Hello music lovers,
So this is Wednesday.
Another week’s (almost) done.
I drank coffee. A lot.
I followed the climate top in Kopenhagen with digust.
So many people arrived by plane. They sat there for more then two weeks.
And they didn’t manage to not even make one single statement such as:
‘Dear world citizens, please walk or use a bike when possible.’
Think about it for a while.
Well.
I played two gigs last week. They were nice!
Thanks people, for listening and clapping.
I created a Facebook group, dedicated to Mr.T
Please join! He needs you!

That’s about it. Don’t want to say more.
Tell me something!
Take care,
LG
Vote
Hello dear music Lover!
How you been?
I decided to join a contest.
My philosophy is that you can’t contest music,
but this one looks nice and is well organised.
If I win, I will play at the Paradiso.
Which is nice of course!
Here we go
You have to register first, too bad. It’s to avoid fraud.
Register at:

If you know other people that like to vote, don’t
be embarrassed to send this mail to them. I just want
to play music, for them as well!
Thanks for the effort so far.
For now: Adios!

Week #49
Sunday, the 29th of November.
I woke up.
Last night we had our annual Sinterklaas night.
I got great presents and nice poems.
We had a great time together.
Anyway, I woke up.
We got together with the whole family to eat a marvellous breakfast.
We drank coffee.
Nice.
I drove back in our lousy car with the four of us.
I saw the birds of prey swaying through the air.
We came home.
Then we attended a terrible gymnastics event which took way too much time.
I had to drive to Belgium that night.
I did.
It was a nice ride.
I listened to the following CD’s:
U2- Zooropa
UNKLE – war stories
The XX – X
Guns and Roses – The spaghetti incident
Vigilantes of Love – Slow Dark Train
Radiohead – In rainbows (not all of the songs..)
Thom Yorke – The eraser
Coparck – A dog and pony show
After a got a small head ache from the loud music,
I listened to the sounds of my lousy car.
On Monday there were 90 kids arriving in a bus.
We gave them nice music workshops for the whole week.
On Monday evening I went to a Depeche Mode concert.
It was great.
I made a picture of a sleeping woman in the train.
Is that strange?
On Tuesday evening I went to bed early.
I was tipsy because of the rum cocktail I made.
On Wednesday evening I went out for dinner with the boss of Musica.
And Divan.
It was a good conversation about concepts, vision and philosophy.
After the dinner I did a performance in Dommelhof, Neerpelt.
It was nice and calm.
After that I ate several kinds of cheese and drank good red wine.
Then I fell asleep in a very cold hotel room.
On Thursday I drove back home.
One big fucking traffic jam as soon as I got into Holland.
With way too many cranky people on the road.
On Friday I had a meeting at the ABN.
After that I typed and thought.
Saturday is today.
I don’t know what it will bring me.
But here I am.
I’m ready.
Are you?
MoMo
So people. This our cat. MoMo.
I’d like ya’ll to take a close look.
He’s in your computer now.
He’s curious. Watch out!
Prrrrr.
Herzele
I took the car.
When I left town I picked up three hitch-hikers.
I left them at a gas-station near Utrecht.
I drove to Gent.
Checked out David’s new home.
We ate a perfect Lasagne.
We drank wine.
We made music.
Off to Herzele.
Such nice and warm people.
Tuned the guitars.
Checked if there was snot in my nose.
There was.
Played my songs. People listened.
They liked it. I drank a beer with friends afterwards.
I searched for my jacket. It was lost.
And found..
I drove back to Holland, Alkmaar.
Came home around 3.30.
I drank a glass of scotch.
I looked at the stars, there weren’t any.
It was cloudy.
Today I recorded ‘Fire Walk’.
It was a nice day.
How about yours?
LG
Fire Walk
I hereby grant you
A magic spark
Inside a golden cage
From the centre of me
It’s to seduce you
To persevere
To sing and dance
To walk with me
Calling you
To fire walk with me
Calling you
To fire walk
Upon the sparklin’ hills
With me
With me
I hereby feed you
A magic spell
On top of a silver spoon
Beheld by eyes
Of the saddest blue
Calling you
To fire walk with me
Calling you
To fire walk
Upon the sparklin’ hills
With me
With me

Nothin’ much
heyhey,
It was frosty this morning. Cold. Yesterday I was very cranky. Now I’m almost euphoric. No..I’m not manic!
Tonight I’m gonna perform with my longtime buddy Polle. At the Wilhelmina Pakhuis. Pageturner#10 event.
Polle is a soundscapist. He records sounds in the city of Rotterdam. Then he makes beats and stuff. Great.
How is the autumn for everybody else so far?
I say: Take Care.

I want to start smoking again.
I want to be more relaxed.
I want to be more active.
I want to love the world.
I want to be sexually liberated.
I want to be a rocksinger.
I want to live in Mongolia.
I want to be Tina Turner.
I want to be the reincarnation of Bach.
I want to be a bird.
I want to be a raindrop on your cheek.
I want to vanish like a whirling wind.
I want to stop wanting.
